About Me.

Since being asked to act as Master of Ceremonies at a wedding over thirty years ago I have organised, managed, set up, styled, cooked or cleaned up after over 2000 weddings.

With an easygoing demeanour and a passion for great food, great wine (and the ability to mix a mean Bloody Mary.) I am an invaluable resource for any event from a small family gathering to a formal banquet.

Having lived in the beautiful City of York for 25 years, I have been fortunate enough to work and manage events in all of the wonderful historic buildings, including the Hospitium, The Art Gallery, The Castle Museum, York's Magnificent Minster, The Deanary, The Merchant Adventurers Hall, The Merchant Taylors Hall, The National Centre for Early Music, The Guildhall, The Mansion House and The Assembly Rooms.

I have worked with a number of Lord Mayors of York and with many of the York Guilds including The Merchant Adventurers, Merchant Taylors, Butchers, Builders and Cordwainers.

When not planning and running weddings or civic functions, I can be found walking my two dogs.
